Is Holding On To Your Past Blocking Your Future?

A message from God to you… Everything has it’s season. There’s a time to be born, a time to die. There’s a time to plant and a time to harvest. A time to kill and a time to heal. There’s a time to tear down and a time to build up. There’s a time to cry and a time to laugh. There’s a time to grieve and a time to dance. There’s a time to be quiet and a time to speak. There’s a time to love and a time to hate, and there’s definitely a time to let some people get the hell out of your life.

People come into your life for a reason, a season and a lesson.

But when that reason is discovered, when that season is over and when the lesson is learned – let them go. When relationships cause more frustration than comfort, when you realize that you are NOT equally yoked, when the handwriting is on the wall, it’s time to kiss and say goodbye. As long as you hold on to that which you’ve settled for, as long as you hold on to that which you’ve given yourself, you cannot receive that which God has for you.

Dear one, a house divided will never stand. Mediocrity is the best of the worst and the worst of the best. Stop accepting less than you deserve. All the prayers in the world can’t change people. You can’t love anyone enough to reset their broken moral/emotional compass. It doesn’t matter how honorable your intentions are, never will you cause someone to become something they are incapable of being. Choose the better portion. Trust God. He has something far better in store you. When you allow the void to be, then and only then will you see what God has for you. From God, to you, through me, Dr. D Ivan Young. I love you madly, most sincerely I do.

    Dr. D Ivan Young,
It’s almost as though you have been sitting right next to me, seeing what I have been doing or going through… Even though in my heart I knew this, there are times when our Creator sends someone, like you, to remind us so that we don’t ignore the truth and wind up with major regrets…Thank you for all your wisdom and for being the instrument of His peace!!!
    Love always,
    Robyn
